Internet SCSI (iSCSI) is an IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standard that provides for the transport of SCSI commands by means of the Internet Protocol (IP). The iSCSI networking protocol allows block-level storage traffic (i.e., SCSI commands and associated data) to travel through general-purpose IP data networks. |
