These metrics can be captured by hIOmon upon an individual file and device basis, with support for both “partitions/volumes” and “entire disks” at the physical device level within the operating system. Moreover, hIOmon can collect an “I/O Operation Trace” and/or summarized (i.e., aggregated) I/O operation performance metrics for user-selected files as well as devices concurrently during system boot startup. |
